I'm pleased to share one of my most significant partnerships - the successful collaboration with Brisbane Weather, a powerhouse in Southeast Queensland's meteorological landscape with over 165,000 followers and substantial community influence.
The Creative Partnership - Queen Caffeine x Brisbane Weather
In October 2024, I designed a comprehensive visual identity package for Brisbane Weather that has become their signature brand presence across all platforms. The project included a dynamic logo featuring an electric blue energy vortex, a striking Facebook profile featuring lightning and storm imagery, a coordinated cover photo with dramatic stormy seascapes, and website banner elements maintaining consistent branding.
What makes this collaboration particularly notable is that Brisbane Weather isn't just another social media account - they're considered by many locals to be more reliable than the Bureau of Meteorology, despite the government agency's multi-million dollar equipment and resources. BOM operates with sophisticated supercomputers, nationwide monitoring stations, and extensive scientific staff, yet Brisbane Weather has earned exceptional trust through their hyper-local focus and community-centered approach.
Before & After: The Visual Transformation
Previous Branding

The previous visual identity lacked a distinctive energy that would set Brisbane Weather apart from standard meteorological services. While functional, it didn't capture the dynamic nature of weather systems or create an immediately recognizable presence across platforms.
New Branding

The new visual identity centers around a striking electric blue energy vortex that creates immediate visual recognition. The design incorporates dynamic storm imagery with dramatic ocean waves and lightning, creating a cohesive visual system that conveys both the power of weather systems and the authority of Brisbane Weather's forecasting.
Strategic Implementation
The implementation strategy focused on creating a cohesive visual identity that conveyed authority and dynamism through electric blue energy motifs, established immediate recognition across all platforms, created a distinctive presence that stands out in social feeds, and balanced dramatic weather imagery with professional presentation.
The design elements deliberately incorporated energetic visual cues that align with both weather reporting (lightning, storms) and my energy-focused branding, creating subtle brand association through design language.
Technical Process
The Brisbane Weather visual identity package was created using Black Forest Labs' Flux 1.1 Pro model on Replicate. The AI-generated imagery captured the dynamic, unpredictable nature of weather systems through an organic creative process. Rather than precise control, the approach involved thoughtful prompting and curation - working with the inherent creative variability of AI to select outputs that most effectively conveyed the energy and atmosphere appropriate for a weather service.
This process embraced the emergent properties of generative AI, allowing for results that traditional design methods might not have discovered. The organic forms of the energy vortex and lightning patterns reflect the same unpredictability found in natural weather systems themselves - an appropriate metaphor for Brisbane Weather's focus.
Measurable Impact
The partnership has yielded significant results across multiple metrics. The Brisbane Weather page publicly credited me for their design, their post about the redesign received substantial engagement (182 reactions, multiple shares), the imagery has been implemented across their entire digital ecosystem including their website, and the visual identity has remained in place continuously since October 2024.
This partnership exemplifies my approach to strategic collaborations - identifying influential community partners and delivering professional creative services that enhance their brand while creating authentic connections. The fact that a community-driven weather service with 165,000 followers chose and continues to use my designs speaks volumes about the quality and impact of my creative work.
You can see the designs in action on their Facebook Page and Official Website.
The Brisbane Weather collaboration demonstrates my capacity to work with established community organizations, delivering professional creative services that provide genuine value while enhancing my credibility in the Brisbane creative ecosystem.
